    Smile Success!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for this wonderful product!

So, it's week 7 for clover and harry (two beautiful burmese kittens about to turn six months).

We are doing brilliantly. Tomorrow, we transition off green and on to the regular toilet seat.

To date, no accidents, no retaliation ... the occasional grizzle from harry when we changed to each subsequent stage... but my clever little kittens are using the loo!! No more litter. Thank you just doesn't seem to cut it.

I read this forum before we started, and found it really helpful, so I thought I'd post our experiences in case it might help someone else ... we did the following:

4 days on red on the floor next to the toilet
1 full week on red on the toilet
    3 full weeks on amber
2 full weeks on green, gradually reducing the litter in the tray
about to transition to the toilet seat gradually over the coming days

I used the treat method, and made sure I was at the ready to give a few little treats each time harry and clover used the litter kwitter. Yes, really, every time. Lots of praise and cuddles and a treat - for both of them. So it made it a happy, positive experience. The sooner I could get to them and tell them how clever they are, the better. (In week two on green I stopped treating gradually, and now they just get a cuddle and praise.)

Clover, who's they same age but much smaller, would adjust to each stage more readily than Harry, but after a couple of days of grizzling, Harry would settle and work it all out. (Must be a chick thing!...sorry fellas)

I kept the litter kwitter REALLY clean. I had paper towel and disposal bags and a domestic spray cleaner at the ready. (Keep some disposable plastic gloves handy!) And, I sprayed a little air deodorizer after I flushed.

I also used a sand based deodorizer in addition to the litter in the tray, particularly when I was leaving the house for longer periods. This seemed to really help on the red and amber stages.

So, best of luck to all of you and thank you again!

haha It is sooo true. My girl also just gets on with it in each stage, no fuss, no hesitation; boy, on other hand, has to be difficult and demands lots of attention before he does his deeds. lol. It takes him few days to settle into each "new" set-up.

Congratulations to both of you! You're sailing through this with such an ease and pleasure. I'm very pleased to hear It's nice to read positive stories!!
